Cocoon

Cocoon

Underneath the soft folds

Protected from light

Protected from sight

I awake to new life

Through closed eyes I perceive

The darkness of warmth

The contours of dream

The scent that I know

The velvet I touch

The rhythm I feel

The comfort you give

The strength that I take

From that nourishing flow

Evanescent fantasies

Condense as emotions

In a torrent of passion

With moist lips I explore

The flower that grows

From the seed of our love
